Meet Dr. Charles Gawthrop

Dr. Gawthrop earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the S. Macuen Smith Memorial Prize in Otology. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the nation’s top training programs.

Board-certified and highly experienced, Dr. Gawthrop provides comprehensive ENT care for both adults and children. His clinical focus includes the surgical and medical management of chronic sinusitis, voice and swallowing disorders, balance and ear conditions, and tumors of the head, neck, and thyroid. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society, and is affiliated with Paoli, Bryn Mawr, and Lankenau Hospitals.

Known for his dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Gawthrop combines advanced ENT expertise with a compassionate approach. He is currently welcoming new patients in Paoli and surrounding Main Line communities.
